The Wildcat Foundation is now accepting registrations for its 14th Annual Golf Outing scheduled for Friday, Aug. 18 at Carlisle Barracks Golf Course.
The event opens at noon for registration with a 1 p.m. shotgun start for the four-person scramble format. Cost is $85 per golfer which includes lunch, dinner and the opportunity to take part in longest-drive, closest-to-the-pin, and hole-in-one contests. Raffles and auctions include the opportunity to bid on various prizes, including an annual membership to Carlisle Barracks Golf Club—a $1,300 value!
Registration is available online for golfers and sponsors.
Funds from the event support the foundation’s mission to strengthen the educational, cultural, wellness and athletic programs of the Mechanicsburg Area School District.
Established in 1998, the foundation has awarded grants to the MASD education community since 2001. In total, the foundation has provided nearly $2,000,000 in funds for programs and projects. It recently wrapped up its grant distribution cycle for the year, releasing close to $90,000 in funds to school district programs.
In addition, the foundation partners with The Mechanicsburg Club, Charles H. Jr. and Jane Eagle Diller, and Stock & Leader to provide various annual scholarships to students pursuing post-secondary education.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for the event including Cart Sponsor, Dinner Sponsors, Lunch & Beverage Sponsors, Hole in One & Wildcat Game Sponsors, Tee Sponsors, and Maroon & Steel Tent Sponsors. Tent sponsors offer the opportunity to set up a tent or table on a hole to interact with every golfer passing through.
Our thanks to confirmed title sponsor, Crabtree, Rohrbaugh & Associates—Architects, and ball sponsor F.M. Berkheimer, Inc. Their investments in the Wildcat Foundation are invaluable in our work to strengthen our schools and community.
